Something New

Wow, actually my hands are shaking, I am committing my thoughts to paper (I know it's not paper but it is to my mind) something I have never done in the 45 years to date. Normally I don't share my thoughts with anyone other than myself and it is bizarre to think someone somewhere may read this.

What brought about this epiphany? ..... the clue is in the title ...... I am at least half way through my life (I know I should be so lucky as to last til 90) and its time to be honest even if its just in a virtual world and even if its just to me.

I watched the movie Julie/Julia last night (I will add a link at some point but I haven't got a clue how to do that, if you knew me you would be wildly impressed that I managed to get the blog going) and the idea of using blogging to move on your life really got me.

I have an idea of a journey I want to take and discuss on my site, a little like Julia Powell in Julie/Julia (nothing too exciting so you may wish to not come back to discover what it is) but I am too embarassed to mention it yet as I get more comfortable with the genre I will tell you.
